While this video is added to the evidence for the lawsuit against TikTok filed by North Carolina, this app is about to be banned unless the head company, ByteDance, divests TikTok to the States by September 17th. 

Hurricane Aarone Threatens the East Coast 

    Aarone, the category 2 hurricane, is still churning on the east coast in the Atlantic Ocean, sprawling the east coast area. While it’s expected to curve out to the sea, the sheer threat will continue through the weekend. Residents in the outer banks are ordered to evacuate. 

Light Pollution’s Knock-on Effects on Nature.

    Dark skies have been essential to the life cycle of organisms. Insects, animals, plants, etc., depend on the light to decide when to flower, reproduce, and feed. But the light pollution, the consequence of development, distorts these functions. An astrophotographer from the UK took the photos of the West Penwith, the largest dark sky in the UK, showing immense light pollution from nearby villas, washing out the night view of star trails, auroras, and stars. Experts from Dark Sky International, an organization working to prevent dark sky erosion and reconstruct destroyed dark skies, concern about its potential knock-on effect on nature.
