Why Are People Uploading Photos of Dubai Chocolate?

    Dubai Chocolate is a chocolate dessert filled with crunchy noodles called Kadaif and pistachio spread. Recently, it has gone viral worldwide, with people uploading its photos and reviews, hoping to gain likes and comments.  

    This behaviour is closely related to dopamine and the brain’s reward system. When someone likes or comments on your content, your body releases dopamine, making you feel good. It takes just a few minutes to take a photo, upload it, and start receiving likes and comments. This is a relatively easy way to experience pleasure compared to putting in a lot of effort over a long period, such as studying for good grades, working hard to save money, or exercising on a daily basis. Therefore, people opt for uploading viral content on social media rather than enduring stress for a delayed reward.

    However, constant dopamine hits from social media can lead to depression and mental illness. As people spend more and more time online, they may lose motivation for productive activities like exercising, studying, reading, and so on. Moreover, their patience may deteriorate because they become accustomed to the quick and easy rewards that social media provides.
