Last year, the website of Ticketmaster, a company where people buy concert tickets, crashed when a gazillion people gathered to buy Tayler Swift concert tickets.
The U.S. government is suing Live Nation, the parent company of Ticketmaster. They also argue that Ticketmaster is a monopoly that controls every phase of a concert, including concert venue and promotion, squeezing out the competitors. While Ticketmaster claims the lawsuit is baseless, this company will be broken into smaller entities If the U.S. government wins.
