However, recent research at Oxford University exposed that the photo was stretched and enhanced, turning the color similar to Uranus into a blue hue. The research team also studied Neptune’s photos over the years, uncovering the secret that the blue color changes when Neptune moves towards or away from the Sun, allowing the combination of gas and cloud coverage to shift the hue.
