The strikingly blue hue of Neptune turned out to be a taradiddle. Neptune’s photo taken in 1999 revealed its blue color. However, recent research at Oxford University exposed that the photo was stretched and enhanced, turning the color similar to Uranus into a blue hue. The research team also studied Neptune’s photos over the years, uncovering the secret that the blue color changes when Neptune moves towards or away from the Sun, allowing the combination of gas and cloud coverage to shift the hue. By the courtesy of technology, the most detailed hi-res photo of IO, Jupiter's moon, has been revealed, capturing its craggy surface dappled with volcanic spots.

A lovable 6-year-old dog’s stray cat friend saved her from a coyote attack. In the backyard, when the intruder ran into the dog, the cat jumped in. But not before she got wounded, spouting blood from her chest. Fortunately, she recovered after a month.
