How to Cope with Frustration?

In my case, frustration often stems from uncertainty. To manage it, I rely on two coping mechanisms. Firstly, I make a plan systematically. Secondly, I keep track of my progress along the way.
Without comprehensive planning, achieving an ultimate goal becomes daunting, even if the objective itself is clear. Take aspiring to become a doctor for example. This requires numerous steps, like financial considerations, relationships, academic grades, and more. A specific and detailed plan makes the goal more attainable. Lack of such planning may lead to confusion about your current position and progress, potentially causing feelings of distress.
When I feel disoriented regarding my goals, I regularly check my progress and milestones achieved. This practice helps me confirm that I’m making progress, moving forward, advancing, and improving. This reaffirms the necessity of having a structured and systematic plan.
