The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) is entering a new phase of the 3-week-long war with a ground invasion of the Gaza Strip. The Israeli Prime Minister warned of a long, difficult war ahead, declaring their all-in attempt to destroy Hamas and free approximately 200 hostages, who were captured by the militant fundamentalist Islamic organization, Hamas. He added that the Israeli heroic fighters won the supreme goal, destroying a murderous enemy and ensuring the existence of Israel. They are bringing in infantries and an engineering unit to the Gaza Strip. Over the weekend, the Israeli military ramped up the airstrikes, which was the most intense destruction, Palestinians said.
