Paris is infested by bedbugs. French Officials say they should not be a threat to the upcoming 2024 Paris Olympics and assure they would contain the scourge of booming bed bugs. But, undercover, they have been found in transport, cinemas, and even in airports. Paris Deputy Mayor said no one is safe since bedbugs can be picked up anywhere. Asked for help from dire customers, the fumigation companies’ business is higher and more urgent than usual. It’s not a laughing matter because they have to get rid of all of their bedding, which is costly and could lead them to paranoia.
Paris only has less than a year to go until the Olympics. To top it off, bedbug infestation is becoming a worldwide task as the number of travelers is increasing.
