Record labor strikes are spreading throughout the U.S. across California, Colorado, Oregon, Washington, Virginia, and Washington, DC.
The writers guild and SAG-AFTRA, representing actors, are on strike, leaving the film industry on pause.
Supported by the U.S. President Joe Biden, the auto workers’ strike against General Motors, Ford, and Stellantis is still ongoing. Joe Biden became the first sitting U.S. President to visit workers on a picket line.
The largest healthcare strike is about to ensue from the Pandemic. The contract of 75,000 workers in Kaiser Permanente Facilities will expire soon. They’re demanding to resolve the staffing shortage issues, otherwise, approximately 40% of them including pharmacists, optometrists, nurses, and x-ray techs will not be available for patients.
