2028 Summer Olympics to Add Five Sports.
The Los Angeles Olympic and Paralympic committee is proposing to add five new sports to the 2028 Summer Olympics, including baseball, softball, cricket, lacrosse, and flag football. It will be reviewed by the Olympic committee’s executive board on October 16th. If approved, lacrosse and flag football will make their Olympic debut. Flag football, a non-contact version of American Football, where players remove the flag attached to a ball carrier instead of tackling, has been growing in popularity over the years.

Travis Gienger won the 50th World Championship Pumpkin Weigh-off with his enormous 2749-pound (67 kilograms) pumpkin, setting a new world record, and causing quite a hullabaloo. Grown in his gourd patch in his backyard, he affectionately named it “Michael Jordan.”
