The Pioneer of Adaptive Surfing.

Jesse Billauer, who was about to turn pro in a week, went surfing on a beautiful day. He pulled inside the barrel like a normal day, but a sudden tide hit his back and knocked him to the bottom of the sea. He woke up in a rotating bed, finding himself limp and paralyzed with 6 broken vertebrae in his neck. He was only 17 and didn’t know what his life would look like.
But when you don’t give up, you cannot fail. Despite his spinal cord injury, he established Life Rolls On, the foundation of adaptive surfing, helping people rediscover their potential. He’s a trailblazer of adaptive surfing. He’s won 3 times in the International Para Surfing Championship. He feels freedom on the surfing board.
