+) South Korea restarted joint military drills in the Korean peninsula. They claimed it was simulated defensive storming in nature though, North Korea felt it was a threat.
+) 16th school shooting of this year killed six people in Nashville, in the U.S. This devastation sparks debates among lawmakers over gun control laws, and had the school officers and parents reviewing the safety protocols again.
+) Scientists found the inclusion of egg yolks in the oil paintings of one of the most famous artists, Leonardo Da Vinci, by fine-tuning the properties of his art.
+) Here are the heroic firefighters who volunteer to help people, by spending their time. They are the members of the Volunteer Force separate from State Emergency Services. This organization was established in the 1900s, and now there are 70,000 members there. What made them serve as firefighters, which is one of the most dangerous professions on the planet? One of the members told this story; when he arrived at a house that was burning he found a room where was a carbon copy of his sun's room. Even though it's difficult to juggle balancing his work life, family life, and RFS, he feels rewarded with his work. He said volunteer members are tasked to help others. He added they are willing to help people, despite it's nothing tangible that they are given for it. He was not talking about bragging rights.
+) Peabody Hotel puts on "duck marching." Back in 1933, the manager of this hotel went duck hunting. He brought the duck decoys and let them loose into the fountain of his hotel. The next morning he found a crowd watching the ducks. So he turned the house into a fountain. Seven years later, a manager who was an animal trainer in a circus team, turned the ducks into a march. Nowadays, there are two or three hundred people who show up to watch the marching of the ducks. On busy days, there are a thousand people there. This story might sound like a practical joke but it’s real. This duck march is off the charts. The duck master, the manager, doesn't think it's his job, but a calling.
