Should We be Afraid of AI Reading Our Minds?

Did you know that the Cerebrum is the most closely linked to thinking and reasoning? These Neuroscientists have been onto reading a brain, and they’re progressing. It’s wild that it is possible when we put it that way. The truth is they found a breakthrough: the AI that powers the Chat GPT could decode the mind with snapshots from the fMRI of a brain. They tested it out. They scanned the brains of one of the neuroscientists and the CNN Correspondent. When the results were in, they found the AI decoded the neuroscientist’s brain pretty accurately. But, since the AI hadn’t been trained on the correspondent’s brain, they couldn’t expect the same outcome from his brain. The AI could even interpret the video into typing. They’re expecting the application to communicate with people who have a speaking disability. On the dystopian side, this correspondent asked neuroscientists if people should worry about the circumstance of someone reading their mind even if they were unwilling to. He answered they had to keep evaluating the implication and preparing for enacting policies to regulate abusing this invention.
