Decoration Day

The US marks Decoration Day, when people pay tribute to the veterans who’ve been in the World War, decorating their graves. CNN interviewed some of them and listened to the story of what made them want to dedicate themselves as a veteran. When this man who wanted to get out of the hood told his dad he wanted to serve a veteran his dad didn’t talk to him for a solid month. He thought scholarship and education was the way to get out of the hood but he had the aspiration to get further from the net, and he ended up going all over, for instance, Wales, Scotland, and so on. Here’s a woman who served as a nurse during the World War. She was only 21 when the World War broke out. She was in the chow line as the speaker announced the breakout of the World War. She said it was a good start to her life as a nurse, but if she went back to the time she would’ve not done that again. Another man who graduated from the Ranger School, which is one of the toughest army schools, lost his uncle to the terrorist organization. And this tragic experience signaled his life as a soldier.
