I am not sure this story is the origin of the four-leaf clover superstition because I’m relying on my memory. Simply put, this superstition is that carrying a four-leaf clover brings you a fortune. If I’m not mistaken, this belief was made by General Napoleon. He was in the middle of a war. And when he saw a four-leaf clover, he bent over so that he could have a better view. Simultaneously, a shot flashed over him. This tiny little sprout saved him from being assassinated and this is how the four-leaf clover became the symbol of luck.
Whenever I hung out with my friends, I used to look for this clover because I believed in that story. As a full-grown woman, I don’t believe in it anymore, but I like the story that the four-leaf clover has.
