The deadline for Title 42 is coming up. The influx has already started. Thousands of migrants are coming from Central and South America. The U.S. border authorities have apprehended 60,000 migrants. And 2,400 of them are crossing daily in El Paso. Still, dozens of migrants are waiting to be processed by the border patrol agents. It seems to increase, and they might cross the border in a mess as the projected expiration of Title 42 sets off. Lots of migrants are being boarded in buses, and some are turned around in the provisions of Title 42.
But they are not prepared for this circumstance yet. The U.S. is speculating once Title 42 is lifted, the already strained system might be overwhelmed. They are worried that thousands of refugees will be left without shelters because there is not much space for them and they might have to turn them away. Both Democrat and Republican parties are concerned if they have to consider a new policy. But, The U.S. is trying to put this expiration of Title 42 process in an orderly and humane way.
